Morning - Chinatown by Foot

The Chinese legacy of Bangkok’s origins cannot be understated. As one of the original cornerstones of the city, early Chinese merchants enabled Bangkok commerce to thrive and turned the city into one of the great trading centers of Asia. Bangkok now boasts a population of more than one million Chinese and has one of the most colourful Chinatowns on the planet. Fast, frantic and eclectic, a ramble through Yaowarat is cacophony for the senses. Explore narrow lanes, fresh markets, religious landmarks and textile booths. Enhance the journey by sampling street snacks while gaining candid impressions for the cultural mosaic that is Bangkok. Your host will take you to Chinatown via the Skytrain and Underground systems on a roughly 4-hour outing at a time of your choosing.

Evening – 18:00 Onwards

Bangkok is a charming monster, with many curious nooks and crannies, night markets, sky-high rooftop bars, and arresting visuals. This is your chance to experience ‘One Night in Bangkok’. We’ll sweep you out into the streets with a local, expat resident for an incredible Thai meal at one of city’s signature restaurants and then a rambling night on the town. We’ll wind things up at legendary Patpong, where night markets collide with colourful characters and rhythmic red-light frenzy. This is a great night to grab Bangkok by the horns and see why it’s one of the most fascinating cities in the world after the sun sets! We’ll include lots of drinks, VIP access and more – get ready for a wild night on the town!

Today, get ready for a wild day out. A private car and local expat host will take you to nearby Chonburi (1.5 hours) to fly a Cessna plane along the top of the Gulf of Thailand (be sure to bring your pilot’s license). After your flight, enjoy a drink, and then we’ll head for a wonderful seafood feast. What day!

Tonight, if you wish to hit the town, we’ll have an expat who has been living here for years host you on a private night exploring nooks and crannies that suit your tastes.

The next three days bring us in touch with some of the most unique and memorable venues in northern Thailand. Weaving through the back roads of remote Chiang Rai, Thailand’s northernmost province provides you with the ultimate backdrop for adventure. You’ll experience life along the borders with Laos and Myanmar in creative fashion.

In the morning a BMW 5 Series will take you to the airport for your flight to Chiang Rai. Upon your arrival you’ll be met by a host who will whisk you to the Golden Triangle and your amazing digs at the Four Seasons Tented Camp. We recommend taking the rest of the day to relax, soak it all in and spend some time with the resort’s elephants, sipping wine and living the life. Your host will be ‘on-call’ should you wish to go out and about.

In the morning you’ll be shuttled to the Chiang Rai airport for a flight to Bangkok and then onwards to Krabi to tropical bliss. The Rayavadee.
