
Sabi Sand Game Reserve
Bordering the Kruger National Park, the fences between the two reserves have been removed and the game is free to roam through the 75 000 hectare Sabi Sand Reserve. Home to the Big 5, this very bio-diverse ecosystem boasts open grasslands, kopjes (hills) and scrub veld. Game viewing from open vehicles at close range, provides unparalleled photographic opportunities. Timbavati Private Game Reserve
The Timbavati is located in the 'Lowveld', a vast tract of subtropical savannah bushveld in the Limpopo Province of the Republic of South Africa. The reserve consists of prime wildlife habitat situated on the unfenced western boundary of the world-famous Kruger National Park. The Timbavati is one of a handful of nature reserves on this boundary which is now an integral part of the Kruger Park system. The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve totals ±60 000 hectares.
Kruger National Park
The Kruger National Park is South Africa’s largest wildlife conservancy. It covers two million hectares and measures 350 kilometres from North to South. The Park is extremely bio-diverse, offering many ecosystems and landscapes which attract all species of fauna and flora. Madikwe Game Reserve
Madikwe, although one of the youngest reserves in the country is the fifth largest. The restocking of game began in 1991 where animals, indigenous to the area, were reintroduced and since then over 10 000 animals of 28 species have been reintroduced into the area. Madikwe is situated close to the border between South Africa and Botswana.
Phinda Game Reserve
Phinda Private Game Reserve is situated in the lush Maputaland region in northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Bordering the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park – a World Heritage Site – Phinda comprises 17 500 hectares (43 240 acres) of prime conservation land. Seven distinct habitats shelter abundance of wildlife including Africa’s Big Five and over 380 bird species
