DAY 01: CAIRO

Met on arrival at Cairo’s' International airport and transferred to The Mena House Hotel.

Welcome drink and time for leisure.

Cocktail reception at the Hotel Khan el Khalili Garden looking out at the Pyramids, followed by candle lit dinner around the pool.

DAY 02: CAIRO

Breakfast at the Mena House Hotel

Visit the Great Pyramids at Giza, the Sphinx and an exclusive opportunity to visit the village of the builder of the Pyramids. (The visit is subject to approval from the antiquity authorities).

Traditional Arabic lunch at The Saqarra Country Club, a short distance from the Pyramids

Afternoon at leisure

Animated sound and light show at the Pyramids relating the history of the Pyramids

Dinner at the Cairo Capital Club - an elegant private club with a wonderful view of Cairo

Overnight at hotel

DAY 03: CAIRO – LUXOR

Breakfast at the Mena House Hotel

Checkout from hotel and transfer to airport for an hour long flight to Luxor

Arrival in Luxor and transfer to 'Nile Cruise' boat

Lunch on board

Visit to famous Karnak temple and Luxor temple. Spend the afternoon exploring Luxor.

Return to boat where you can enjoy some of the numerous amenities on board.

Dinner and overnight on board

DAY 04: LUXOR - ESNA

Breakfast on board.

Visit the West Bank, followed by the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut Temple, and Memnon Colossi. At these venues you will get to see tombs, temples, ancient monuments and statues. All tours are conducted by professional Egyptologists. Return to boat

Lunch on board

Cross Esna lock and sail to Edfu, formerly a Greek city and now a religious and commercial center. Afternoon at leisure as you sail the glistening waters of the Nile

Dinner and overnight on board in Edfu

DAY 05: ESNA - EDFU

Breakfast on board.

Visit the temple of Edfu dedicated to the god Horus.

Lunch on board and sail on to the town of Kom Ombo, home to the Nubian tribe.

Visit the temple of Kom Ombo, where in ancient times crocodiles baked on the banks near the temple.

Sail to Aswan.

Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 06: EDFU - ASWAN

Breakfast on board.

Visit the high dam located near Aswan and the Philae temple.

Lunch on board.

Afternoon at leisure

DAY 07: ASWAN – CAIRO

Breakfast on board.

Disembarkation and transfer to Aswan airport for flight to Cairo.

Visit the Citadel of Salah ad-Din, one of the worlds greatest monuments to medieval warfare.

Visit the Mohamed Ali Mosque, built during the Ottoman dynasty and the tomb of Mohammed Ali.

Lunch along the way.

Visit the Khan - El - Khalili bazaar, built in 1382 it is one of the most extensive markets in the Middle East and a shopper’s paradise. Here you can find leather, brass, glass products amongst thousands of other items.

Dinner buffet and overnight at Hotel.

DAY 08: CAIRO

Breakfast at the Mena House hotel.

Visit the Egyptian Museum where you can view the coffin of Tutankhamen amongst hundreds of thousands of artifacts.

Lunch on board 'a Feluca, the traditional Nile sailing vessel, while listening to local musicians.

Afternoon at leisure.

Dinner at Verandah restaurant, on the Nile River banks with live entertainment.

Overnight at hotel.

DAY 09: CAIRO

Breakfast at the Mena House hotel.

Checkout from hotel and transfer to airport for flight back home.
