ITINERARY 2: 7 Nights/8 Days - NAIROBI/SAMBURU/TREE HOTEL/LK. NAKURU/MAASAI MARA

Morning drive to Samburu game reserve.
This drive will take you through the central highlands where you will be able to see large scale coffee, flower and pineapple farming.
You will stop briefly at the Equator line for a short demonstration.
Lunch at Samburu Serena Lodge .
Afternoon game viewing drive in this game reserve in search of wildlife.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.
This semi arid countryside is a bird lover's paradise. The game reserve is also unique as it is home to some wildlife which can only be found here. These are the gerenuk, reticulated giraffe and the gravy's zebra. Other wild animals including the 'big five' are also found here.

Morning drive to the Aberdares national park.
Lunch at Aberdare Country Club.
Afternoon transfer in hotel vehicles to the Ark. Afternoon tea, coffee at the Ark.
The Ark is set in thick woodland at the heart of the Aberdare National Park and is designed with numerous viewing decks, balconies and lounges that allow you to watch animals visiting the waterhole and salt lick.
A ground level viewing area provides excellent photographic opportunities and a floodlit waterhole allows all-night game viewing.
Dinner and overnight at the tree hotel.
NB: ONLY SMALL OVERNIGHT BAGS ARE ALLOWED TO THE TREE HOTEL.
THE OTHER LUGGAGE WILL BE STORED AT THE BASE HOTEL.
CHILDREN UNDER 7 YEARS ARE NOT ALOOWED IN A TREE HOTEL.

Morning transfer to the Aberdare Country Club to rejoin your driver guide and retrieve your luggage.
Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley.
Lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Afternoon game viewing drive in the park.
The Lake Nakuru National Park is world famous for the pink flamingos which number thousands upon thousands. The rare black rhino, the white rhino and many other wild animals can also be found here.
There is a very high chance of seeing the nocturnal and very elusive leopard.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Morning drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s finest and best known game reserve.
Lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Afternoon game viewing drive.
The greatest attraction in the Mara is watching the animals in their natural element; a lion's roar, a cheetah making a kill, and the big elephant herds are all very fascinating events.
You will also meet the Maasai who are the inhabitants of this reserve and are a proud and largely aloof tribe who have held on to their customs and traditions for hundreds of years.

Drive out of the Mara headed for Nairobi, game viewing drive.
As you climb the eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley, your drive guide will stop at strategic viewpoints for photography.
Lunch on own arrangements on arrival in Nairobi.
After lunch we will transfer you to the airport for your final departure flight.
